Vacation costs on the rise
The price of lodging and dining in Nevada will increase by a combined average of 11 percent this year, well above the national average increase of 5 percent, according to a report from AAA Nevada.
A family of two adults and two children can expect to pay an average of $286 per day in Nevada for food and lodging, the travel service said. Lodging rates will average $147 per night, up 18 percent from last year. Meals will cost $139 per day, up 4.5 percent.
