Airline charges man for using wheelchair

DISABLED passengers are being discriminated against by a low-cost Scottish airline, it was claimed today.
No-frills carrier flyglobespan has sparked a row after an elderly man travelling to Alicante was hit with a £30 fee for using a wheelchair.
The incident was witnessed by a fellow passenger, who wrote to his MP in disgust at what he said was "downright discrimination" towards elderly and disabled air passengers.
