Dutch airline to screen passengers passing through US airspace
BRUSSELS, April 12 (Xinhuanet) -- The Dutch airline KLM has announced that it will start screening the passenger lists of all flights which pass through United States airspace, Radio Netherlands reported Tuesday.
This measure is designed to detect people appearing on the US government's list of terror suspects. Passengers appearing on the lists will not be allowed on KLM flights, it said.
The airline says that it wants to prevent its planes from being turned back at the last moment.
