An unexpected overnight delivery

FedEx plane drops 4 aluminum pieces onto Danville

FedEx made an unscheduled East Bay delivery Monday night when chunks of purple aluminum nearly the size of plywood sheets peeled away from a cargo plane and rained down on a Danville neighborhood, startling residents but causing no harm to the plane or injuries on the ground.
